The <br />following persons were present <br />City Council Present: <br />City Council Absent: None <br />Staff Present: <br />City Council <br />Study Session Summary <br />October 27, 2009 <br />Library Meeting Room <br />951 Spruce Street <br />7:00 PM <br />Emergency Notification Warning System <br />Mayor Chuck Sisk <br />Mayor Pro Tem Marsella <br />Ron Sackett <br />Dave Clabots <br />Frost Yarnell <br />Hank Dalton <br />Bob Muckle <br />Malcolm Fleming, City Manager <br />Heather Balser, Deputy City Manager <br />Rhonda Welborn, Executive Assistant <br />Susan Dellinger, GIS Coordinator <br />Bruce Goodman, Chief of Police <br />Kevin Watson, Finance Director <br />B. Goodman presented information regarding concerns of the original locations <br />and alternative locations for three emergency warning sirens. One siren has <br />been installed and is operational at the Golf Course. Residents and the Open <br />Space Advisory Board expressed concerns regarding decibel levels, noise in <br />general, and aesthetics of the sirens that would affect the following alternative <br />locations: Pirates Park, Alder Park, Harper Lake and Joe Carnival Park have <br />noted concerns. <br />Staff discussed considerations taken when deciding on an alternative location for <br />two of the sirens: <br />City of Louisville <br />City Council 749 Main Street Louisville CO 80027 <br />303.335.4533 (phone) 303.335.4550 (fax) www.LouisvilleCO.gov <br />
