Youth Advisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />11/5/09 <br />Louisville Public Library <br />951 Spruce St. <br />7:00 PM <br />I. Call to Order <br /> – 7:04 pm <br />II. Roll Call <br /> was taken and the following members were present: <br />Board Members Present: Katy Brown, Leslie Dong, Daisy Fuchs, Antonia <br />Lin, Nicole Polglaze, Bonnie Schrag, Hannah Tienken, Kendall Webster, <br />Samantha Webster, Joi Wu, <br />Board Members Absent: Brooke Cox, Megan Valentine <br />Staff Members Present: Kriska Daltonhurst, Mandy Perera, Frost Yarnell <br />III. Approval of Agenda <br /> The agenda was approved by all board members present. <br />IV. Approval of Meeting Minutes from October 1, 2009 <br /> The minutes from October were approved by all board members present. <br />V. Public Comments <br /> None <br />VI. Discuss National Dark City Project- guest speaker from the City <br />Planning Office <br /> Sean McCartney came to talk to us about what Louisville is doing for Dark <br />City Projects. <br /> Working on using light that will not take too much energy. <br /> Most if not all fixtures will be down facing to light up pathways but will not <br />go across the property line. <br /> Sam wanted to know if the light would be at an angle to comply with the <br />Dark City Project. It was said that the plans have not been changed since <br />the early 2000’s.
