a number of the local. merchants. His concern was that when he visited some of the more national <br />merchants that he was not getting more of a response. He was frustrated as he had been in other fund <br />raising activities and had been well received. He encouraged Council to do what they could do to <br />help these people out. Also, he had received calls regarding the fact that the tornado warning sirens <br />were not throughout the City of Louisville. He wanted this looked into. <br />Keany thanked the Chamber for the wonderful Taste of Louisville on Saturday. There was a <br />wonderful Flag Day ceremony co- sponsored by the Elks, Chamber of Commerce and other <br />organizations. He reminded Council of the Business After Hours on Thursday at 5 p.m. at the Alpine <br />Lumber Company. <br />Mayer pointed out that a siren should indicate whether it is for a flood or a tornado. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Sisk moved that Council adjourn (9:25 p.m.), seconded by Mayer.
