OTHER REGULAR BUSINESS ITEMS ARISING AFTER PREPARATION OF AGENDA <br />NONE <br />CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT <br />NONE <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, pointed out the memorandum placed before Council regarding the <br />summer maintenance of the Recreation Center. The center will be closed August 11 through August <br />15. Pass holders may use the Bob Burger Recreation Center in Lafayette during this time. He <br />reported that the rain had caused delays in the street reconstruction projects. He expected that at the <br />August 19 meeting there will be a recommendation regarding the 1997 Downtown reconstruction, <br />700 -800 blocks of Front Street. Invitations will be forth coming on the Grand Opening of the Lydia <br />Morgan Apartments on September 4 at 4:00 p.m. At the August 12 Worksession discussion/direction <br />will be given for the Landscape Master Plan, review the goal for 1998, review the proposed ballot/ <br />question, and a follow -up discussion on the sewer tap fees. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />NONE <br />y <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Sisk moved that Council adjourn, seconded by Keat y (1(:35 p.m.).
