ORDINANCE NO. 1353 SERIES 2000 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT DESIGN STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES TO SET FORTH ADDITIONAL SIGN DESIGN CRITERIA. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1242, Series 1996, the City previously adopted the Commercial Development Design Standards and Guidelines CCDDSG") which are incorporated into the City zoning regulations; and WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the CDDSG to set forth additional sign design criteria for commercial developments subject to the CDDSG; and WHEREAS, the Louisville Planning Commission, after notice and hearing, has recommended the City Council adopt the CDDSG amendments set forth in this ordinance; and WHEREAS, City Council has provided notice of a public hearing on this ordinance by publication as provided by law and held a public hearing as provided in said notice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: Section 1. Section 7.2.B.3 of the Louisville Commercial Development Design Standards and Guidelines is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be added are underlined; words to be deleted are s~'4~'t'~ '~' ..... ~'~' 7.2 Sign Number and Area Standards and Guidelines: B. Number of Signs - Commercial/Office 3) Office, flush-mounted signs not exceeding -2-0 40 square feet of surface area each, and not exceeding 100 square feet total, are permitted. (S) Section 2. Section 7.2.C of the Louisville Commercial Development Design Standards and Guidelines is hereby amended to read as follows (words to be added are underlined; words to be deleted are otn 7.2 Sign Number and Area Standards and Guidelines: C. Area of Signs; Character Heights l) Freestanding, ground-mounted signs shall not exceed 32 square feet per face. (S)
