Section 1. Subsections C and D of Section 13.12.020 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />are hereby amended to read as follows (words added are underlined; words deleted are ~ <br /> <br />Sec. 13.12.030. Tap fee Generally. <br /> C. The amount of the tap fee for residential units shall be determined <br />by the city and shall be based upon the size of the tap, as calculated pursuant to <br />the provisions of the tha~mat4om~ Plumbing Code adopted by the City and set <br />forth in Title 15, as then in effect, and by reference to the table of fees established <br />by the city administrator in accordance with section 13.12.040; provided that the <br />minimum tap fee paid for each multifamily unit other than a townhouse after <br />payment in full for the first tap issued shall be 60 percent of the existing charge <br />for a three-quarter-inch tap and provided that the minimum fee paid for each <br />townhouse in a group of attached "townhouses", as defined in Code section <br />17.08.560, after payment in full for the first tap issued, shall be 80 percent of the <br />ex_isting charge for a three-quarter-inch tap. <br /> D. The tap fee for nonresidential units shall be deten'nined by the city <br />and shall be based upon the size of the tap, as calculated pursuant to the <br />provisions of the ~ Plumbing Code adopted by the City and set forth in <br />Title 15,. as then in effect, and by reference to the table of fees established by the <br />citY administrator in accordance with section 13.12.040. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Subsections A and B of Section 13.12.030 of the Louisville Municipal Code <br />are hereby amended to read as follows (additions are shown in underline; deletions are shown in <br /> <br />Sec. 13.12.030. Tap fee for residential units. <br /> A. If the applicant for a water tap permit desires a larger size tap than <br />is required by reference to the Lm~aal4om~ Plumbing Code adopted by the City <br />and set forth in Title 15, as then in effect a~C~al3te~, the fee charges shall be the <br />minimum fee for the size tap desired. <br /> B. In the event a consumer desires to provide automatic fire-control <br />protection for the consumer's premises and for emergency service only, which <br />requires a tap larger than three-fourths-inch, the tap fee charged shall be based only <br />on the demand set forth in the ~lemmt-ioa~ Plumbing Code adopted by the City and <br />set forth in Title 15, as then in effect, and by reference to the table of fees <br />established by the city administrator in accordance with section 13.12.040. The user <br />shall be required to pay the full cost of installation of the service, including all pipe, <br />valves and valve boxes. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Section 15.16.010 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed and <br />reenacted, with amendments to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 15.16.010.
