<br />The first section of Section R310.1 of the 2009 International Residential Code IS <br />amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />R310.1 Emergency escape and rescue required. Basements and every sleeping room shall have at <br />least one openable emergency escape and rescue opening. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.05.070. Section P2603.Ci.l amended. <br /> <br />The number "36" is inserted in two locations of Section P2603.6.1 of the 2009 <br />International Residential Code so the section will read as follows: <br /> <br />P2603.6.1. Sewer depth. Building sewers that connect to private sewage disposal systems shall <br />be a minimum of 36 inches below finished grade at the point of septic tank connection. Building <br />sewers shall be a minimum of 36 inches below grade. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.05.080. Section P3103.Jl amended. <br /> <br />The number "6" is inserted in two locations of Section P31 03.1 of the 2009 International <br />Residential Code so the section will read as follows: <br /> <br />P31 03 .1. Roof extension. All open vent pipes which extend through a roof shall be terminated at <br />least 6 inches above the roof or 6 inches above the anticipated snow accumulation, except that <br />where a roof is to be used for any purpose other than weather protection, the vent extensions <br />shall be run at least 7 feet (2134 mm) above the roof. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.05.090. Section R2904 delc~ted. <br /> <br />Section R2904 Residential Fire Sprinklers of the 2009 International Residential Code is deleted. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.05.100. Copies available. <br /> <br />At least one copy of the International Residential Code and one copy of each secondary <br />code pertaining thereto, as amended herein, all certified to be true and accurate, shall be available <br />for public inspection at the office of the Building Safety Division between the hours of 8:00 a.m. <br />and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. The city clerk shall at all times <br />maintain a reasonable supply of copies of the code available for purchase by the public at a <br />moderate price. <br /> <br />Sec. 15.05.110. Violations andl penalties. <br /> <br />It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, <br />repair, move, improve, remove, convert or demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building <br />or structure or cause or permit the work to be done, in violation of the provisions of this chapter <br />or the terms of the code or standards adopted and incorporated in this chapter.
