b.No less than 42 feet of unobstructed inside turning radius for any turn of 90 degrees <br />or more; <br />c.No less than 42 feet of unobstructed inside turning radius for any other street <br />configuration as may be approved by the city. <br />Sec. 15.12.090. Appendices adopted. <br /> The following appendices of the International Fire Code are hereby specifically adopted; <br />any appendices not listed are not adopted: Appendix B, Fire-Flow Requirements for Buildings; <br />Appendix D, Fire Apparatus Access Roads. <br />Sec. 15.12.100. Copies available. <br /> At least one copy of the 2009 International Fire Code, as amended herein, certified to be <br />true and accurate, shall be available for public inspection at the office of the building safety <br />division, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays <br />excepted. The city clerk shall at all times maintain a reasonable supply of copies of the code <br />available for purchase by the public at a moderate price. <br />Sec. 15.12.110. Fire lane requirements. <br />A.Single-family residences which are located more than 150 feet from the closest public <br />street right-of-way shall provide a fire lane from the street to the residence and the fire <br />lane shall be no less than 16 feet wide. <br />B.All buildings, except single-family residences, three stories or greater in height, shall <br />have ready access on public streets or fire lanes to at least two sides of the building from <br />which a rescue can be made. Access for rescue means doorways or windows. If there is <br />no access for rescue on the sides of the building, then fire lanes shall exist on the front <br />and back of the building. <br />C.No platted street in multifamily, industrial, business or commercial development ending <br />in a cul-de-sac or some other design shall exceed 300 feet in length without providing a <br />secondary fire lane access. <br />D.No platted street in a single-family area ending in a cul-de-sac or some other design shall <br />exceed 500 feet in length without providing a secondary fire lane access. <br />Sec. 15.12.120. Fire lane specifications. <br />A.Fire lanes shall be clearly marked with an approved sign and kept clear of obstruction. <br />The location and configuration of all fire lanes shall be approved by the city prior to <br />installation. <br /> 12 <br /> <br />
