He stated this was a good resource for people to use. Design Assistance – 921 Main Street Lewis stated she had met with Eric Tussey on his property and has made recommendations for preservation techniques. Old Town Historic District Stewart and Williams are working on the maps and Muckle agreed to provide data for the districts. There was also discussion on whether or not the HPC should fund an update to the architectural survey, which was done in 2000. It was determined that this should be a topic of discussion at the next meeting. Update on Demolition Requests – None Discussion/Comments on Planning Department Referrals - none Updates – 1116 Jefferson Avenue - None Hecla Casino - Lewis stated the American Legion decided to go another direction and is not interested in purchasing the Hecla Casino for relocation. She stated that the HPC has until March to determine another future user for the historic structure. Tofte asked if Lewis had approached the Louisville Revitalization Committee (LRC) to see if they would be interested in purchasing the structure for affordable housing. Koertje added the LRC could use it for affordable housing. Muckle recommended the HPC should make a presentation at the next LRC meeting. Lewis suggested the HPC should figure out other avenues, such as approaching the LRC. Items from Staffnone - Items from Commission Members Muckle stated she would not be at the October 19, 2009 HPC meeting. Koertje stated he would not be at the November 16, 2009 meeting.
