Resource ConservationAdvisory Board <br />Meeting Minutes <br />Monday, November 16, 2009 <br />City Hall, 749 Main Street, Spruce Room <br />Call to Order: <br /> Chair Mark Persichetti called the meeting to order at 6:50pm. <br />Roll Call: <br /> Present: members Beth Armbruster, Annie Hughes, Ryan Hughes, <br />Mark Persichetti; staff liaison Tom Phare. Absent: members Richard Smith, <br />David Wyner – it was noted that since our scheduled October meeting, members <br />R Smith and D Wyner have both submitted their resignations from the board to <br />staff liaison Tom Phare and chair M Persichetti. <br />Approval of Current-Meeting’s Agenda: <br /> The agenda was approved as-is. <br />Approval of Sept-2009 Meeting Minutes: <br /> The Sept-2009 meeting minutes had <br />not been included as part of the meeting-packet materials, so approval is <br />deferred until next month.There was no meeting in October, so no minutes to be <br />reviewed/approved. <br />Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: <br /> none. <br />Presentation: Open-Government Training requirements & schedule for <br />LRCAB members: <br /> All current members attended the training sessions this past <br />year, so none are required to attend sessions this coming year. <br />Review: LRCAB’s LED Holiday Lights Exchange Program, conducted on <br />November 7, 2009; second collection event required?: <br /> Members B <br />Armbruster, A Hughes, R Hughes, & M Persichetti worked at the Rec Center Nov <br />th <br />7. 92 strings of old lights were collected for recycling, 78 discount coupons <br />were distributed. We have over 300 coupons remaining. A second collection <br />th <br />event has been scheduled for Nov 28 at the Rec Center.Advertising will be in <br />theLouisville Times, on the City website, at City Hall & Rec Center. <br />Review: Public Information for various sources & resources, for city’s <br />website; follow-up from Sept-09 meeting: <br /> This was a task that D Wyner had <br />been working on.
