Lipton moved the <br />consent agenda be approved. Rommelfanger seconded. Roll Call Vote: <br />Carlson - yes, Lipton - ye!s, Gunning - yes, Rommelfanger - yes and Mulvahill - <br />yes. Consent agenda approved. <br /> <br />Authority Business <br /> <br />A. Public Hearing - New Beer and Wine Liquor License - Gibraltar, LLC <br />d/b/a Cafe de Paris -. 908 Main St. #1 B <br /> <br />Carlson opened the public hearing on the new license application. Secretary <br />Hanson stated the application was complete and included in the Authority packet. <br />Background checks revE~aled no criminal history and the hearing had been <br />posted and published in accordance with state law. <br /> <br />No objections were enten~d to the boundaries of the neighborhood being the city <br />limits of the City of Louisville" Carlson moved the entire application as contained <br />in the Authority packets be made a part of the record of this hearing. Mulvahill <br />seconded. All in favor. <br /> <br />Ayoub Abdelmoula introduced himself and his wife Bryn to the Authority and took <br />the oath. Carlson asked for an applicant presentation. Mr. Abdelmoula stated <br />they started the business over a year ago. They feel the business has given <br />them opportunity to not only have good customers but friends. They have had <br />requests to stay open latE~r, add menu items and beer and wine. <br /> <br />Three community members spoke in favor of the license and commented they <br />liked the atmosphere at the Cafe de Paris. <br /> <br />Questions were asked about training of wait staff. Mrs. Abdelmoula stated her <br />husband has previous experience and the other staff person just finished <br />bartending school. She said they were open to attending the training the City <br />offers. <br />
