New Hotel and Restaurant Liquor License - Public Hearing - Cane
Nero, LLC d/b/a Zucca Ristorante - 808 Main St.

Carlson opened the public hearing on the new license application. Secretary
Hanson stated the application was complete and included in the Authority packet.
Background checks revealed no criminal history and the hearing had been
posted and published in accordance with state law.

No objections were entered to the boundaries of the neighborhood being the city
limits of the City of Louisville. Carlson moved the entire application as contained
in the Authority packets be made a part of the record of this hearing. Lipton
seconded. All in favor.

Lenny Martinelli, 605 Grant Avenue, Louisville, Colorado, introduced himself and
took the oath. Carlson asked for an applicant presentation. Mr. Martinelli,
reported he has been in the restaurant business for about 30 years. He wants to
open a local Italian eatery in Louisville. He wants to have the alcohol available to
compliment the food. He noted he trains the staff and has had very few
problems with the liquor licenses he now holds. Mr. Martinelli was asked about
the one incident he noted on the application. He said it was unfortunate and the
employee involved was reprimanded and the entire staff retrained. Mr. Martinelli
was asked if he would participate in the street patios. He said he would probably
not participate at least for the first year, but had applied to get approval for a front
patio area on the restaurant. He reported they anticipated being open only for
dinner in the beginning.

Carlson closed the public hearing and asked for comments from the Authority.
