Four <br />training sessions were held during the year. A total of 71 sellers and servers from <br />licensed establishments attended the training sessions with 42 from Louisville <br />businesses. <br /> <br />ACTION ITEMS <br /> <br />The Authority held nine regularly scheduled meetings in 2009. <br /> <br />In 2009, the Authority renewed 49 liquor licenses. <br /> <br />The Authority approved two new Hotel and Restaurant Licenses in 2009, and one new <br />Beer and Wine license. They approved the transfer of one Liquor Store license, one <br />Beer and Wine license and had one transfer by operation of law of a Retail Liquor Store <br />license. In addition, thirteen Special Events Permits were issued to five non-profit <br />organizations. The Authority continues to consider other additions to licenses as they <br />occur. Of note this year was the raised patios downtown outside two licensed premises <br />requiring modification of premises by the Authority. <br /> <br />The breakdown for the 52 liquor licenses held in the City of Louisville is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Hotel & Restaurant 31 <br />lBeer & Wine 3 <br />:3.2% Beer (Off Premises) 6 <br />Retail Liquor Store 6 <br />Tavern 4 <br />Club 2 <br /> <br />2 <br />
