Mayor Sisk requested Mr. Jensen and Mr. Health be available to make a WGP presentation on March 2, 2010. City Manager Fleming asked City Attorney Light how Staff should proceed in light of the contract expiration on March 1, 2010. City Attorney suggested the Mayor or City Manager be authorized to request a hold on the contract's expiration for a period of one month. Councilor Sackett and Mayor Pro Tem Marsella agreed to lay the motion on the table over until March 2, 2010 meeting. City Attorney Light suggested the Mayor or City Manager execute an extension of the current contract with WGP. The Council discussed the option of extending the current agreement by one month and laying Councilor Sackett's motion over until the March 2, 2010 meeting. MOTION: Councilor Dalton moved to continue the discussions to March 2, 2010, seconded by Councilor Clabots. All in favor. Absent: Councilor Muckle. MOTION: Councilor Dalton moved to authorize the Mayor or City Manager Fleming to negotiate a 30-day extension to April 1 ,2010 on the WGP agreement, seconded by Councilor Sackett. All in favor. Absent: Councilor Muckle. ORDINANCE No. 1565, SERIES 2010, AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A LOAN FROM THE WATER AND WASTEWATER UTILITY FUND TO THE GOLF COURSE FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009 - PUBLIC HEARING Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1565 Ordinance, Series 2010. Mayor Sisk opened the public hearing and requested a Staff presentation. Finance Director Watson explained Ordinance No. 1565, Series 2010 is not related to the golf course agreement. This loan was approved as part of the 2010 budget. It authorized a Iloan of $320,000 from the Water and Wastewater Utility Fund would be transferred to the Golf Course for a 2009 deficit.
