City Clerk. City ManaQer's Staffl.

1. Recycle Records Boxes
2. Utilize composting and recycling bins in break rooms
3. Office recycling bins used
4. Use natural light as often as possible.. ..not turning on conference room lights
when not needed and same with office lights
5. Often HR staff is last ones out of the building at night so we turn off hall lights
upstairs, down stairs and in the employee lounge
6. In our offices, most of us have only 2 of the 3 lights bulbs turned on so we are using
less energy
7. We double side items when possible for printing purposes thus reducing the
number of sheets of paper needed
8. We use mugs for coffee and water rather than paper cups
9. We carpool to outside meetings when possible which is about 95% of the time
10. We use electronic media to post jobs more often than ever before
11 . Recycle used paper into scratch pads
12. Request compostable plates, bowls, cups, silverware, for use at City Hall
13. When we head off to another city facility for a meeting, we often bring the mail
in the City Hall mailboxes with us to that facility to cut down on someone making an
extra trip for the mail
