Lathrop agreed with Mayer, Howard and Levihn regarding additional landscaping. He stated the lack <br />of windows gives the building a warehouse store appearance instead of a department store <br />appearance. <br /> <br />Davidson assured Mr. Dawson that Council considers the impact of commercial areas on <br />surrounding residential areas very serious, and has adopted higher standards for developers to follow <br />in an effort to minimize the impact. He expressed more concern for the total square footage of <br />Kohl's sign than the sign's lettering size. <br /> <br />Howard moved that Council forward the Final PUD Development Plan for Kohl's Department Store, <br />Lot 3, Parcel 'O', Centennial Valley to Planning Commission, seconded by Lathrop. All in favor. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZE PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF FINAL DETERMINATION TO <br />PURCHASE PARCELS OF REAL ESTATE AND A CONSERVATION EASEMENT IN <br />REAL ESTATE <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff introduction. <br /> <br />Bill Simmons, City Administrator, stated that pursuant to Section 2.92.010 of the Louisville <br />Municipal Code, staff is requesting authorization to publish the public notice that at its July 21, <br />1998, regular meeting, the Louisville City Council will make a final determination as to the purchase <br />of, title to, and a conservation easement in certain parcels of real estate totaling approximately 296 <br />acres and located on the west side of 96th Street and on the north side of Dillon Road, for purposes <br />of open space, conservation, and right-of-way. <br /> <br />Davidson called for Council questions and comments. <br /> <br />Levihn moved that Council authorize publication that at its July 21, 1998, regular meeting, the <br />Louisville City Council will make a final determination as to the purchase of, title to, and a <br />conservation easement in certain parcels of real estate totaling approximately 296 acres and located <br />on the west side of 96th Street and on the north side of Dillon Road, for purposes of open space, <br />conservation, and right-of-way, seconded by Howard.
