Call to Order: Commission Chair Dan Mellish called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. II. Roll Call Commission Members Present: Dave Ferguson, Lynn Koglin, Dan Mellish, Sean Moynihan, Don Ross, Dustin Sagrillo, Jennifer Strand, Colleen Vandendriessche Commission Members Absent: Sally Burlingame, Brian Chamberlin, Diane Marino, Anne Robinson, Pat Seader City Representatives Present: Beth Barrett, Directory of Library & Museum Services Bridget Bacon, Museum Coordinator III. Approval of Agenda: All members approved the agenda. IV. Approval of Minutes: All members approved the January meeting minutes. V. Public Comments on Items Not on the Agenda: None VI. Treasurer's Report: Dave Ferguson presented the following report for January 2010: Previous Balance 883.47 Expenses 992.68 Receipts 2,725.00 Checking 2,615.80 Savings 33,083.55 Total 35,699.35 The Commission approved the Treasurer's report. Bridget Bacon noted that her review of the Commission's funds received in 2009 indicated that $18,000 was received. The Commission agreed that this was a good financial performance. VII. Report from the Director of Library & Museum Services: Beth Barrett spoke about the City Council's recent budget retreat. Due to the closure of Sam's Club, the City is experiencing another round of cuts to follow those that were already made last year. Also, she explained that the City is embarking on a Performance Measures project and is asking for measurements and statistics from all City departments. The International City Manager's Association is the source for the measurement questions. The Library and Museum will participate by providing information about usage.
