City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 16, 2010 <br />Page 13 of 13 <br />VOTE: All members in were favor. <br />ORDINANCE No. 1570, SERIES 2010 – AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br />LOUISVILLE AMENDING ORDINANCE No. 1561 TO EXTEND THE TEMPORARY <br />MORATORIUM ON THE ACCEPTANCE, PROCESSING, OR ISSUANCE OF <br />APPLICATIONS OR REQUESTS FOR BUSINESS REGISTRATION, SALES TAX <br />LICENSES, BUILDING PERMITS, AND CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY FOR <br />ST <br />MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES WITHIN THE CITY OF LOUISVILLE – 1 <br />READING – SET PUBLIC HEARING <br />Mayor Sisk requested a City Attorney introduction. <br />City Attorney Light read Ordinance No. 1570, Series 2010. He explained the current <br />moratorium expires on May 15, 2010. If the ordinances’ second reading is not <br />scheduled on April 20, 2010 as an emergency ordinance there will be a gap in the <br />moratorium. <br />MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to continue Ordinance No. 1570, Series 2010 to April 20, <br />2010 at 7:00 p.m., seconded by Councilor Dalton. All members were in favor. <br />CITY ATTORNEY’S REPORT <br />No items to report. <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />No Council comments or Committee reports. <br />ADJOURN <br />MOTION: Councilor Sackett moved for adjournment, seconded by Councilor Muckle. <br />All were in favor.
