Planning Commission <br />Meeting Minutes <br />February 11, 2010 <br />Page 10 of 15 <br /> <br />Members of the Public: <br />Elmer Crider, 9355 Paradise Lane, Louisville stated his support of the project and <br />what a blessing it will be for the City. <br />Donna Auguste, 9350 Paradise Lane, Louisville read a letter into record stating <br />the ConocoPhillips project will have a profound impact on their lives. The <br />extension of Campus Drive will also impact their property. She stated the rural <br />character will be lost. <br />Larry Helms, 9255 Paradise Lane, stated his support for the project. <br />Ed Byrne, 250 Arapahoe Ave., Boulder, representing the Thompson Family <br />(9250 Paradise Lane), summarized the negative impact the development will <br />have on the Thompson property. He distributed a set of pictures to illustrate his <br />discussion. <br />Erich Hardy, 9555 Paradise Lane, stated his support for the project. He thanked <br />ConocoPhillips for the professionalism they demonstrated with the residents on <br />Paradise Lane. <br />Peter Stewart, 1132 Jefferson, Louisville expressed concern with Resolution No. <br />4 and the building heights should be based on design and provide a benefit to <br />the community. He stated a 95’ tall building does not benefit the community. <br />David Waldman, 1871 Continental View Dr., Louisville discussed the need for the <br />applicant to provide the required land dedication. He continued with a discussion <br />of building heights stating the 35’ limitation is not appropriate for the site. He <br />stated his support for the 95’ height instead of the sprawl that the 35’ height <br />limitation would require. <br />Audrey DeBarros, 839 W. Mulberry St., Louisville, representing the US 36 <br />Commuting Solution, discussed the multi-modal and TDM approach, the bike <br />connectivity and the groups desire to continue working with ConocoPhillips on <br />TDM. <br />Mark Zaremba, 1260 Hays Dr., Louisville stated the 95’ is appropriate. He also <br />stated the company locating to Louisville will provide benefit to downtown <br />Louisville. <br />Russell Moore, 1013 Arapahoe Circle, Louisville stated he has had a working <br />relationship with ConocoPhillips through CU. He stated he has been impressed <br />with the plans and the pre-planning ConocoPhillips has been doing. <br />Steve Anderson, 225 South Boulder Road, Louisville stated his excitement for <br />ConocoPhillips to be a part of Colorado, especially Louisville. He expressed <br />concerns with the extension of Campus Drives but also believes the extension is <br />needed. <br />John Leary, 1116 Lafarge, Louisville stated his concerns with the requested <br />waivers and the need for more detail regarding those waivers. His concerns <br />center on specific sections of the Louisville Municipal Code. <br /> <br />
