<br />City Council <br />Meeting Minutes <br />March 2, 2010 <br />Page 3 of 12 <br /> <br />TIFIA funding by way of the recent TIGER grant award to US 36. The US 36 <br />Project received $10 Million Dollars in a TIGER Grant, which may be matched by <br />potential loans or grants. He' thanked everyone who was involved in the team <br />effort. <br /> <br />CONSENT AGENDA ITEM 4D - CONVERSION TO CUSTODY <br />ACCOUNT AT WELLS FARGO <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk recused himslelf trom the vote and left the room. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Pro Tern Marsella moved to approve Item 4D - Conversion to <br />Custody Account at Wells Fargo, seconded by Councilor Clabots. All were in <br />favor. Absent: Councilors Dalton and Yarnell. Mayor Sisk recused himself. <br /> <br />CI1rv MANAGER'S REPORT <br /> <br />City Manager Fleming updah~d Council and the public on the economic <br />developments for marketing the Sam's Club property. Economic Development <br />Director Star and Staff mHt with Wal-Mart's property broker last week to ensure <br />the building is sold as quickly as possible. <br /> <br />REGULAR BUSINESS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION FOB GIIRLS SCOUT WEEK IN CELEBRATION OF GIRL <br />SCOUTS 98TH ANNIVERSARY <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk proclaimed March 7 through March 13 as Girls Scout Week in <br />Louisville, Colorado. He presented the Girls Scout Proclamation to Girl Scouts <br />Flatirons Service Unit Mana~ler Ann Palius; Girl Scout Leader Patty Lower of <br />Troop 1424 and Kaylyn Fern3ra. Kaylyn Ferrera will receive the Girl Scout's <br />highest recognition, the Gold Award. <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Marsella, a previous Girl Scout Leader voiced her appreciation <br />for the guidance she rece~ived from Ann Palius and Patty Lower. She explained <br />after 15 years of service Ann and Patty are retiring this year. She thanked them <br />for their service to Louisville's Girls Scouts. <br /> <br />BI-MONTHL.Y I::CONOMIC DEVELOPMENT UPDATE <br /> <br />Mayor Sisk requested a Staff presentation. <br /> <br />Economic Development Director Star updated City Council on recent Economic <br />Developments. <br /> <br />. The sale of the Sam's Club property will be Staff's number one priority. <br />
