City Council Meeting Minutes April 6, 2010 Page 7 of 17 providing services the residents have come to expect. He shared Councilor Muckle's concerns, but was pleased with the ConocoPhillips project. Mayor Sisk noted ConocoPhillips and the Staff has done an excellent job to accommodate open space. He was not looking for any additional open space, but noted with the higher building heights, there will be more prairie lands. He stated there are several exciting aspects of the development and Council should consider the Preliminary PUD and not get it confused with the issue of vested rights. Councilor Muckle voiced his support for the ConocoPhillips development however he also supported the Open Space Advisory Board's request for open space. Councilor Dalton addressed publiic land dedication and open space. He preferred proceeding with the trails and prairie land restoration. Mayor Sisk concurred. Councilor Muckle clarified he is not advocating for more open space, but merely redistributing it the north side of the property. City Attorney Light requested the public hearing include the following documents: All of the documents included in the April 6, 2010 City Council Packet; the additional PowerPoint Presentations from the Planning, Finance Departments and the applicant. MOTION: Mayor Sisk moved to include the document outlined by the City Attorney into the record of the public hearing, seconded by Councilor Muckle. All were in favor. City Attorney Light reviewed the Staff recommendation on the ConocoPhillips Development as follows: Close the public hearings on Resolution No.9, Series 2010; continue the public hearings on Resolutions NO.1 0, 11, and 12, Series 2010, and second readings of Ordinance No. 1568 and Ordinance No. 1569, Series 2010 to the April 20, 2010 City Council meeting. Mayor Sisk closed the public hearing on Resolution No.9, Series 2010.
