Howard moved that Council approve Resolution No. 47, Series 1998, Final PUD Development Plan <br />for an 8,581 sf Light Industrial Building - Lot 10, Block 2, CTC, 1st Filing, with the following <br />amendments: <br /> 1. The bike rack at the northeast comer of the building is more clearly located <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />on both the site plan and landscape plan. <br />The landscape plan is modified to reflect the relocation of the utility box that <br />is incorrectly indicated on the site plan. <br />The site plan notes regarding the height of the retaining wall are modified to <br />be consistent with the final drainage plan. <br />The retaining wall section is modified to more clearly specify the amount of <br />wall exposed adjacent to the RR easement and that the amount of wall <br />exposure is limited to a maximum of 12 inches. <br />That Patmore Ash is correctly identified in the common name section of the <br />plant schedule and that the number of annuals and perennials shown on the <br />plan meets the quantities established in the plant schedule. <br />The following architectural modifications are made: <br /> * The CMU used for the coursing above the windows should be <br /> a darker color and a ground-faced texture. <br /> * The same material should be used at the top of the parapet <br /> wall to create a simple cornice-type detail. <br /> <br />Seconded by Mayer. <br /> <br />Roll call was taken. Motion was approved by a 6-0 vote. <br /> <br />RECEIVE REQUEST FROM PLANNING COMMISSION RE: INTERIM POLICY <br />DIRECTION REGARDING THE DOWNTOWN COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> <br />Davidson called for staff introduction. <br /> <br />Paul Wood, Planning Director, stated that the Planning Commission requested a resolution be <br />forwarded to Council for interim downtown policy direction. <br /> <br />Mayer Davidson called for Council questions and comments. <br /> <br />Mayer asked Wood how much more downtown development Council might be see and what the <br />impact would be. He felt Council should work with the business community and the residents to <br />decide what downtown should look like. <br /> <br />Wood replied that based upon 2.0 spaces at an average daily capacity, there would be a surplus <br />square footage of 80,000 after 801 and 908 Main Street were approved. <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br /> <br />
