r J <br /> REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLZ CITX _COUNCIL OCTOBER 16. 1973 <br /> APPRAISAL OF INDUSTRIAL City Administrator Wurl reported that he had ob- <br /> PAR( tained an appraisal on the land in the Industrial <br /> Park which was available and perhaps this item <br /> should be placed on the agenda for the Nov. 13, <br /> 1973 meeting.. <br /> Councilman Deborski commented he would like to have <br /> this information turned over to the P. & Z. <br /> Commission along with the data from the Industrial <br /> Negotiating Committee. <br /> Mr. Hurl stated he felt since these sites were <br /> so small perhaps they would be unrelated to the <br /> larger sites for P. & Z. consideration. <br /> Mayor pro-tem King did state this information would <br /> be sent on the Planning Commission and they are <br /> to send back their recommendations to Council. <br /> URBAN RENEWAL Councilman Donovan moved that $200,000.00 be placed <br /> BUDGET in the budget as an in and out item for funding <br /> Urban Renewal and Housing Authority. Seconded by <br /> Councilwoman Scholl. Roll call vote - Deborski <br /> no, Jensen no, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico <br /> yes. Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Domenico moved that the City Adminis- <br /> trator's Report be accepted. Seconded by Council- <br /> woman Scholl. A11 in favor. Motion carried. <br /> ORDINANCE #430 City Attorney Morris stated that Ordinance #430 <br /> PROPERTY TAX REBATE was not ready for presentation - to be taken <br /> up at November 13th meeting. <br /> ORDINANCE #425 Attorney Morris recommended that Ordinance #425 <br /> DOCUMENTRY FEE be repealed since the City of Louisville is a <br /> Second Class City and court action would be costly <br /> and in all probability would result in loosing <br /> the case. After discussion, Councilman Jensen <br /> moved that Ordinance #425 be repealed. Seconded <br /> by Councilman Domenico. Roll call vote - Deborski <br /> no, Jensen yes, Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico <br /> yes. Motion carried. <br /> A discussion was held on what could be done to <br /> compensate for the revenue being lost by repeal- <br /> ing Ordinance #425 - City Administrator Wurl <br /> mentioned increasing water and sewer tap fees <br /> as a source of additional revenue to carry out <br /> the capital improvement program of storm sewers, <br /> streeet improvements, etc. After discussion, <br /> Councilman Deborski moved that this be taken up <br /> at a work session.
