Motion carried. <br /> Public Hearing to be held December 18, 1973. <br /> ORDINANCE #432 Read in entirety by Attorney Paul Morris. <br /> 25c S.F. FEE Councilman Deboraki moved that Ordinance #432 <br /> GENERAL FUND be adopted and published. Seconded by Council- <br /> man King. Question called for. Councilwoman <br /> Scholl questioned if the LURA boundry had been <br /> excluded from Ordinance #432. Attorney Morris <br /> advised "in this one it was not." After dis- <br /> cussion between Council members, Administrator <br /> Wurl and Attorney Morris, Mayor Caranci asked <br /> for a roll call vote - Deborski no King yes, <br /> Jensen no, Donovan no, Scholl no, Domenico yes. <br /> Motion defeated. <br /> Attorney Morris then included the following in <br /> Ordinance #432: <br /> "In order to encourage improvement in the older <br /> parts of the City, located within the boundries <br /> of the Louisville Urban Renewal District as adopted <br /> by the City Council, construction in that area <br /> is exempt from said fee. It being the opinion <br /> of the City Council that the exemption of said <br /> property is for the better health, safety and <br /> welfare of all the citizens of the City of Louis- <br /> ville." <br /> After discussion, Attorney Morris suggested he <br /> and City Administrator Wurl get together and work <br /> up a proper legal description and exempt that <br /> area, and have it to you by Friday so that you <br /> can take a look at it. <br /> ORDINANCE #427 Councilman King moved that Ordinance #427 be <br /> AMENDING ORDINANCE adopted on Second Reading. Seconded by Council- <br /> #416 TO EXCLUDE woman Scholl.
