Quilting Class: Barbara Stahr requested use of the Community Hall.on the evening of November 28th for the quilting class. Secretary to check on keys to the Hall and have one available for their use. A second session of quilting is to be offered and secretary is to run an ad :in the Times, advertising this session. ACCOUNTING: : Peggy Boydstun, who is working on Parks and Recreation account- ing reporked that she has entered all bills through 1972 in ledger, and will begin work on. 1973 bills as soon as she can get these from the office. Chairman suggested Miss Boydstun be put on payroll and secretary is to get this accomplished. CORRESPONDENCE: Signed contract to be sent back to Middle School for use of gym for wrestling program on Saturdays of March, April; and May of 1974. from 9:00 A.K. to 12:00 A.M. Information from Division of State Parks and Recreation on State assistance for recreational trails program. 3 sets of Louisville City Council minutes. Memo from Mr. Wurl aboud Department Head meetings, to be held twice monthly. 2 letters from Bob Davis, Urban Renewal Authority. First letter regarding transferring title and maintenance respon- sibility on Memory Square Park. This letter was turned over to Jerry King for attention. Second letter regarding fertilization-of grass at Memory Square Park. Discussion about whether it is Parks and Recreation s responsibility to provide the fertilizer at this time, since the Park has not officially been turned over to Parks and Recre- ation. A copy of this letter was also given. to Jerry Ring, and he will contact Mr. Wurl to see if City can do this fer- tilization, or if a nursery should be contacted to do this work. MEMORY SQUARE PARK: Bob Davis of Urban Renewal has suggested the possibility of an all-purpose court in front of the Convent to Walnut Street, also providing some additional off-street parking. After some discussion, it was agreed that this space should be left as a cul de sac. All members were in agreement, and Jerry King was asked to report this to Mr. Davis. Replacement Trees.
