City Administrator <br /> Wurl advised that the City of Denver had let <br /> water through and advised us too late to have <br /> Fred take care of the situation. <br /> ITEMS FROM PEOPLE IN Mayor Caranci inquired'of Mayor elect Waschak <br /> ATTENDANCE NOT APPEAR- if he had been informed of the various Boards <br /> ING ON THE AGENDA and Committees to be appointed. He advised <br /> he had met with City Administrator Wurl and <br /> everything had been taken care of. <br /> CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S City Administrator Wurl referred to a letter <br /> REPORT from Representative John Buechner inquiring <br /> if Council was interested in holding a re- <br /> legislative dinner, usually in conjunction <br /> with the City of Lafayette. Council instructed <br /> Mr. Wurl to set up the dinner meeting. <br /> LEASE QUOTES ON VEHICLES City Administrator Wurl advised there was a 60 <br /> day or more delivery for any vehicle and he had <br /> called for bids on quotes for vehicles budgted <br /> in 1974 . The low quota bidder was First Mimi- <br /> cipal Leasing - $598.39 per month for 4 vehicles, <br /> 2 Police cars, Pick-up van for Code Enforcement <br /> Officer and vehicle for City Administrator. <br /> The car now being used by the City Administrator <br /> to go to City Engineer White. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Deborski moved <br /> that City Administrator Wurl get bids on one <br /> police car, type vehicle needed for Code Enforce- <br /> ment Officer& and one vehicle for City Adminis- <br /> trator. Seconded by Councilman King. Roll call <br /> vote - Domenico no, Scholl no, Donovan no, Jen- <br /> sen no, King yes, Deborski yes. Motion defeated. <br /> Councilman Donovan moved that City Administrator <br /> Wurl be authorized to enter into agreement for <br /> all 4 vehicles. Seconded by Councilwoman Scholl. <br /> Roll call vote - Deborski no, King no, Jensen nog, <br /> Donovan yes, Scholl yes, Domenico no. Motion <br /> defeated. <br /> City Administrator Wurl Was instructed to get <br /> further quotes and the matter would be decided <br /> next meeting - December 4, 1973. • <br /> FBI REPORTS Report submitted by Chief Munger showed only <br /> three FBI checks had been made since his employ- <br /> ment. Chief Munger had difficulty in obtaining <br /> FBI checks - FBI sent fingerprints back stating <br /> there is nothing in the State Statutes that re- <br /> Page - 3 - <br />
