Mr. Wurl first re- <br /> viewed, for the commission, Wood Bros. <br /> request to exchange the apartment trace <br /> for single-family units. Mr. Wurl than <br /> informed the Commission that if Park- <br /> wood were to develop as zoned, the - <br /> City would derive $1,199,755.00. If <br /> Parkwood was re-zoned the revenue would <br /> be reduced $778,102.00 or $421,653.00 <br /> Mr. Wurl advised the Commission that <br /> the staff would present a study on the <br /> Wood Eros. request on the 5th of Decem- <br /> ber, the next regular meeting, as they <br /> would have more facts and data for them <br /> at that time. <br /> STS REPORTS Mr. Drumm reviewed his written racommen- <br /> rISCHER RE-ZONING dation on the Fischer re-zoning. He <br /> advised the Commission that spot zoning <br /> is a poor idea, in that once it is start- <br /> ed it would become a common practice. <br /> He stated that if the commission feet <br /> that this are would merit a multi-family <br /> dwelling zoning, then that zoning :hould <br /> be changed, There was considerable <br /> discussion, the commission concerring <br /> with Mr. Drumm. Mr, Wurl consulted the <br /> • Zoning Ordinance, reading from "The <br /> Declaration of Rezoning Policy for Re- <br /> zoning, he stated "for the purpose of <br /> establishing and maintaining a sound, <br /> aLlible, and desireable development ,th- <br /> in the City of Louisville, the rezoning <br /> of land is to be discouraged, re-zoning <br /> should only be considered if: <br /> A. The land to be re-zoned was zoned <br /> in error and as presencly zoned is <br /> inconsisted with the policies and <br /> goals of the City's Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br />
