iw I 411 REGULAR MEETING LOGISVILLS CITY COUNCIL_ FEBRUARY 1. 1977 Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. with the following Council members present: Domenico, DiLorenzo, Caranci, DiCarlo, McDonald and De1Pisso. Others present: City Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Engineer White, City Planner Drumm, City Treasurer Reason, City Clerk Santini. ACCEPTANCE OF Councilman DiCarlo requested that the MINUTES minutes on page 4 be corrected as JANUARY 18, 1877 follows: Councilman DiCarlo voted no MEETING on ordinances #518 and #530 pertaining to dogs. With the corrections Mayor Waschak and Council approved the minutes as corrected. COUNCIL ITEMS DRCOG APPOINTMENT Mayor Waschak stated that no one has applied for the DRCOG appointment as representative from Louisville. Councilman UiLorenzo suggested that the Mayor appoint a representative. Mayor Waschak stated that he did not feel this good as the person appointed may not accept the position. Councilman McDonald moved that the po- sition be advertised again. Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried. DRCOG REQUEST Mr. Wurl informed Council that the State Rec. RESOLUTION #1 wanted the City's support on requesting STANDLEY LAKE that the State take over suface rights of the lake for recreational purposes. He stated that the reason the request has come to Louisville was because they felt it effected Louisville because of the location. Councilman DiCarlo asked if this would have any effect on the Farmers Reservoir & Irrigation Co. Mr. Wurl stated that it would not. Councilman Caranci stated that since the City did not allow recreation activities at our reservoir, he did not think if fair to approve the Standley Lake re- solution. After discussion Councilman DiLorenzo moved that Resolution #1 be adopted supporting Standley Lake request. Seconded by Councilman McDonald. Roll call. Caranci no. DiLorenzo yes, McDonald yes, DiCarlo no, DelPizzo no, Domenico no. Motion defeated.
