410 . 110 February 9, 1971 <br /> Minutes - page 7 <br /> ORDINANCE #57$ <br /> ADOPTION CONTINUED City Planner Drumm stated that a study <br /> was taken recently using houses through- <br /> out the City on meters, within the <br /> study it stowed that each unit is using <br /> about 1/2 acre foot of water, which is <br /> figured for each user. <br /> After discussion Councilmen Ditorenso <br /> moved that Ordinance #578 be adopted. <br /> Seconded by Councilman DiCarlo. Roll <br /> call. Caranci no Kilker no, DelPizzo <br /> yes, DiCarlo yes, DiLorenso yes, <br /> Meier yes. Motion carried. <br /> 37 ACRE OPEN SPACE Planner Drumm stated that 37 acres of <br /> the Mesa Point property not up for <br /> annexation is being looked at for open <br /> space and the Mess Point annexors have <br /> been talking to the County for a possible <br /> purchase. They are requesting that the <br /> City submit a letter to the County <br /> Commissioners that the City has no <br /> disagreement with them negotiating for <br /> the possible purchase of the property. <br /> Councilman Kilker did not feel the City <br /> should become involved. Councilman <br /> DiCarlo agreed. <br /> Councilman Meier stated that he would <br /> like to see a letter stating that the <br /> City had no objections for the purchase <br /> of the land by the County for open space. <br /> Planner Drum stated that it might be <br /> best for the City to go back to the <br /> County and see what they would like to <br /> have stated to help them begin nego- <br /> tiations. <br /> There was no other action taken. <br /> ORDINANCE #579 <br /> CODIFICATION UPDATE Attorney Joss stated that this ordinance <br /> dealt with the deadline for supplements <br /> to the Codification books. He road the <br /> ordinance on second reading by title <br /> only. <br /> Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance <br /> #579 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman <br /> DiCarlo. Roll call. DiCarlo yes, <br /> Caranci yes, Kilker yes, DelPizzo yes, <br /> Ditorenzo yes, Meier yes. Motion <br /> carried. <br />
