1110 11111 <br /> REGuLa Harm LOUISVILLE Cm cow= 21. 1978 <br /> Mayor Waschak called the regular meeting to order at 7:30 P.K. with <br /> the following Council members present: DiCarlo, Meier, Caranci, Kilker <br /> and DelPisso. Absent: Councilman DiLorenso. Others present: City <br /> Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, City Treasurer Hasson, City <br /> Engineer Jicinaky, City Planner Drumm and City Clerk Stahl. <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF MANTES Mayor Wa,chak and Council approved the <br /> minutes of the March 7, 1978, Council <br /> meeting as presented. <br /> ENCLOSURERS Councilmen Caranci moved that enclo- <br /> surers be accepted and brought up under <br /> the proper head of business. Seconded <br /> by Councilman DiCarlo. Motion carried <br /> COUNCIL ITEMS <br /> KENNETH DUKES CONSTRUCTION Councilman DelPizzo stated that he was <br /> FINAL PAY ESTIMATE not happy with some of the project and <br /> SEWER PLANT felt that the payment should not be <br /> made until everything is repaired and <br /> installed. He noted that the water is <br /> running slowly through the weirs and <br /> felt that algae will form. He also <br /> cozamenddon the cholorination chamber <br /> valve, the smoothing of the road and <br /> the laboratory. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that this is the first <br /> time he has heard of some of the prob- <br /> lems. Mr. Wurl noted that the con- <br /> tractor has scheduled to lower the weirs <br /> the variators will be put in and the <br /> gravel will be complete along with the <br /> hand raking, all which should be completed <br /> before the coming week. After comments <br /> Councilman DiCarlo moved that payment be <br /> held up until Council had a chance to <br /> inspect the plant for compliance. Seconded <br /> by Councilman Caranci. Roll call. Meier <br /> yes, Caranci yes, DelPizzo yes, Kilker yes. <br /> DiCarlo yes. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that the matter needs <br /> to be resolved and felt that the matter <br /> should be looked at again in hopes that <br /> everything can be corrected. <br /> TOM BENSON REPRESENTING Mr. Benson stated that he is representing <br /> TRIP - TAX RELIEF IS TRIP and is requesting that the Council <br /> POSSIBILE GROUP take a position pertaining to the 1/2L <br /> sales tax for open space purchase by the <br /> County. He stated that many merchants <br /> are very unhappy and will be losing busi- <br /> ness to other counties with lower tax. <br />
