ORDINANCE NO. 587 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 13 OF THE <br /> LOUISVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, INCREASING <br /> THE MUNICIPAL WATER TAP FEES IN THE AMOUNT <br /> OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS PER TAP AND INCREASING <br /> SEWER TAP FEES IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED <br /> DOLLARS PER TAP. <br /> WHEREAS, the cost of improving, expanding and maintaining the <br /> water and sewer of the City of Louisville are increasing, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the increased ..: <br /> costs of the City should be recognized and be reflected by the water <br /> and sewer tap fees; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE, COLORADO: <br /> SECTION 1. Section 13. 12.020, Chapter 13. 12, Title 13 of the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 2. The following section is hereby added to Chapter 13. 12, <br /> Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 13 . 12.020 Tap fee - Generally. <br /> No water service shall be furnished to the consumer until all of the <br /> tap fees and special fees provided for in this chapter have been paid <br /> to the City Clerk. No water tap may be purchased until a building permit <br /> is obtained for the structure to be served. The city shall provide a meter, <br /> a yoke, a corporation valve, a meter pit and all labor involved in <br /> installing the corporation valve. The owner shall be responsible for all <br /> excavation and for installation of service from the water main to the <br /> structure served. <br /> SECTION 3. Section 13 . 12.040, Chapter 13.12, Title 13 of the <br /> Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 4. The following section is hereby added to Chapter 13. 12, <br /> Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 13. 12.040 Tap fee - Table B <br /> A. Tap fee shall be computed by reference to Table A of Section <br /> 13. 12.030 and Table B of this section. <br />
