In the event that a tap is not put in service by the owner within a <br /> year from the purchase date thereof, the city shall require the payment of <br /> an amount equal to any increase or increases in the tap fees which have <br /> occurred since the purchase of said tap. <br /> SECTION 5. Section 13.24.020, Chapter 13.24, Title 13 of the Louisville <br /> Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 6. The following section is hereby added to Chapter 13.24, <br /> Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> 13.24.020 Tap fee - Generally. • <br /> No sewer tap may be purchased until a building permit is obtained for <br /> the structure to be served. Upon payment of the tap fee, the owner <br /> remains responsible for all labor and excavation In connection with the <br /> installation of the sewer tap. The city shall do all necessary inspection, <br /> and the director of public works shall cause the inspection to be made to <br /> determine that all of the work performed is in accordance with the <br /> National Plumbing Code. <br /> SECTION 7. Subsections A (1, 2, 3) and B (1, 2) of Section 13.24.030. <br /> Chapter 13.24, Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code is hereby repealed. <br /> SECTION 8. The following subsections are hereby added to Section 13 .24.030, <br /> Chapter 13.24, Title 13 of the Louisville Municipal Code: <br /> A. The tap fee for residential uses shall be computed as follows: <br /> 1. Single family dwellings, nine hundred dollars per unit; <br /> 2.
