• • Regular Meeting, Louisville City Council, June 6, 1978 PAGE 12 Administrator Wurl advised that they had done the stop sign study at the corner of Lincoln and Lafayette to see if there was adequate traffic, and it did not meet the standards for a 4-way stop. MOSQUITO CONTROL: Requested staff do their best to get the County to come out and put in the fish that eat the larvae, as the situation is very bad in the vicinity of Lake Park. Administrator Wurl advised that it was his understanding that there was an improved spraying technique available through Boulder County, if they think the situation warrants it. He was to contact them. WEEDS: Had several complaints regarding the weeds. Administrator Wurl, City Attorney Joss, and Chief Munger had inet with the new Code En- forcement Officer and they feel the situation will be corrected. COUNCILMAN DELPIZZO: Expressed his concern also regarding the deep hole on Front Street. LAKE PARK: The sidewalk is covered with water, and the pond is overflowing. Administrator Wurl advised that the project was not complete and the contractor has been called to finish the grading, materials have been ordered with the exception of the ties. The level of the pond when it starts to over- flow is lower than the sidewalk, and weather permitting, the contractor will be available next week. COTTONWOOD PARK Inquired if the bathrooms were in working condition? Administrator Wurl advised he thought that the bathrooms had been locked and San_O-Lets were placed in the park, because of the past vandalism. TREES: Councilman DelPizzo inquried if more trees were to be planted in the parks. Adminis- trator Wurl advised more trees would be planted at Lake Park. 3 Austrian pines had been planted near the ditch near Cotton- wood.
