410 410 <br /> Regular Meeting, Louisville City Council, June 6, 1978 PAGE 11 <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS AND Councilman DiCarlo inquired about the <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS: development of South Park. <br /> Administrator Siege advised we had not re- <br /> ceived our appraisal as yet. <br /> What can be done about the drainage problem <br /> at Miner's Field? <br /> Administrator Awl stated he would meet <br /> with the Engineer and report with some <br /> recommendations. <br /> Councilman DiCarlo: Is anything ever <br /> going to be done with the large open hole <br /> on Front St. , the former Steinbaugh Hardware <br /> Store? DiCarlo is very concerned that some- <br /> one would have an unfortunate accident. <br /> Administrator Wuri to check with Glenn <br /> Steinbaugh. <br /> COUNCILMAN MARY Reported the Long Range Planning Commission <br /> DILORENZO: is still working on the Niwot area. She <br /> also stated she would be at the DRCOG meeting <br /> regarding the Foothills Water Treatment Plant, <br /> and Council gave her permission to give <br /> Council's approval to the project. <br /> CEMETERY CANOPY: Had a complaint from some of the citizens <br /> that the canopy had not been taken down <br /> all weekend; caretaker to be contacted. <br /> BROCHURE ADVERTISING THE Had requests for brochure advertising Louis- <br /> CITY OF LOUISVILLE ville, industrial sites, housing, etc. <br /> Administrator Wurl advised that he had been <br /> working on just such a brochure, and he had <br /> talked with a firm that had done some work <br /> for Larry Mizel, but their cost was too high. <br /> Mizel, the CO RR, Director Drumm and Adminis- <br /> trator Wurl have been working on the program <br /> and will keep Council advised. <br /> Councilman DiLorenzo stated that the Denver <br /> Headquarters would like to have colored <br /> slides of the area from us, if possible. <br /> COUNCILMAN NORBERT MEIER: Expressed his concern about the speeding on <br /> Lafayette St. , especially over the weekends, <br /> and had received several complaints and was <br /> concerned that one of the children would be <br /> injured. <br />
