•
Rescheduled Meeting Louisville City Council June 27, 1978
PAGE 4
Wurl replied that Boulder County was going to
petition to annex Dillon Rood and 96th. Councilman
Caranci suggested that all this should be discussed
at the Planning Commission meeting.
STORAGE TECHNOLOGY CORP. Administrator Wurl read a letter dated June 16. 1976.
UTILITIES REQUEST: signed by Mr. Jesse I. Amide, President, in its
entirety. Councilman DelPizzo asked hope large a
line would be run for the utilities. Administrator
Wurl replied that a preliminary estimate would be
in excess of 18" line to Dillon Road, and an 8'"
line to SIC. Administrator Wurl added that this
would necessitate a further agreement be drafted
by the City Attorney providing for the approval of
the extension of the lines. Basically the agreement
will state that STC will run the lines according to
the City's specifications; will set forth what the
tap fees will be, and define how SIC will be rebated
in the event someone connects onto the line. Since
this is a large project for SIC time is essential to
have the utility lines constructed. If they wait
until the annexation procedure is completed before
the start on the utility lines, it will be well be-
yond the time the building is completed, consequently
the difference in regular annexation proceedings.
Councilman Caranci inquired, what happens if the
annexation request is not approved? Administrator
Wurl replied this would necessitate SIC paying out
of the City fees, which would be double. After dis-
cussion by Council members, they wished to read the
agreement before they authorize the Mayor to sign it;
consequently a special session was set for Thursday.
June 29, 1978 at 6:00 P.M. Councilman DiLorenzo moved
that the Mayor be authorized to sign the agreement for
water and sewer utilities, if agreement is with City
Council and SIC on June 29, 1978. Seconded by Council-
man Meier. Question called for. All in favor.
Motion carried.
Mr. Percy Conarroe asked if a booster pump would have
to be installed by STC for the sewer lines. Adminis-
trator Wurl advised that a pump would be installed
for the wastewater.
FOSTER ET AL ANNEXA UOtc Councilman DiLorenzo moved that the Public Hearing
RESCHEDULE HEARING DATE for the Foster Et Al Annexation be rescheduled for
July 18, 1978. Seconded by Councilman Meier. Question
called for. All in favor. Motion carried.
