Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL COMMENTS & <br /> COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> MINERS FIELD Councilman DiCarlo asked about the <br /> watering of the field as it is getting <br /> torn up. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that since it has been <br /> so dry the water is still on, but for <br /> less time. <br /> LINE HOLES Councilman DiCarl.o stated that several <br /> citizens have asked him why the holes <br /> dug for water and sewer lines are not <br /> being covered or shored. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that it is the contractors <br /> responsibility, however, it will be <br /> suggested to the contractors. <br /> SO. BOULDER ROAD Councilman DelPizzO asked about the <br /> possibility of a light on South Boulder <br /> Road and Jefferson or a street in <br /> Scenic Heights area. <br /> Mr. Wurl stated that a study was done <br /> and a grant received to put a pedestrian <br /> crossing in that area when the school <br /> notified the City that there were no <br /> children crossing the street in that <br /> area, so the funds were transferred <br /> into another area. <br /> MAIN ST. Councilman DelPizzo stated that he has <br /> also received complaints about the So <br /> Boulder Road Main Street intersection. <br /> He stated that persons turning West off <br /> Main can never get across because the <br /> parties on South Boulder Road do not <br /> stop long enough. <br /> Mr. Nurl stated that the area will be <br /> worse as there will be construciton up <br /> there making the road wider; however, <br /> they hope to improve the situation. <br /> Councilman Berry suggested that a <br /> police be directing traffic during the <br /> peak hours at Main and South Boulder Rd. <br />
