Councilman DelPizso stated that the City should continue on with the mall project without waiting for the result* from the outside agencies. Councilman Domenico also stated that he wanted to see the developer continue on with the plans and not wait for studies. Councilman Meier asked that the Attorney look into how the interim highway plan was passed through DRCOG with the wording that the interchange would be studied, to be completed in a six month period and see if the City could do anything about the plan. CITY ATTORNEY REPORT ORDINANCE NO. 682 Attorney Joss reported that the ordinance JOSLIN ANNEXATION was published on May 21, 1980 and the SECOND READING P.H. public hearing notice was published on May 28, and June 4. Mayor Waschak opened the public hearing. Attorney Joss read the ordinance on second reading by title only. Planner Randall stated that the Planning Commission recommended annexation of the property. Council discussed water taps on the pro- perty. Mt. Wuri stated that only l tap would be supplied as the property can not be divided. After discussion Mayor Waschak closed the public hearing. Councilman Caranci moved that Ordinance lo. 682 be adopted. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. Roll call. Carnival yes, Fauson yes, Domenico yes, Delpizzo yes, Hour yes. Caranci yes. Motion carried.
