LURHA APPOINTMENT Chairman ittnabergar requested that Mr. Jarmes Fell be appointed to fill the vacancy on LURHA. Council asked that Mr. Fell be present at the next meeting, before the appointment is made. APPOINTEES BE PRESENTED Councilman Caranci moved that a letter be sent to Mr. Fall requesting he be present at the meeting when the appointment is wade and that all persons requesting appointments to all boards and commissions be present at the meeting when the appoint- ments are to be made. Seconded by Council- man Domenico. Motion carried 4-0 HISTORICAL COMMISSION This was tabled until the September 2, APPOINTMENT meeting so they persons could be in i attendance. AUDIENCE COMMENTS OPEN SPACE vs. POW WOW Rick Luca, 187 Harper St. stated that he was concerned with the usage of the City open space and asked what was actually considered open space and what could be put on it. In regards to the Pow Wow he asked who would be paying for public protection and the needed utilities and what criteria staff used to determine the proposed Pow Wow facility WAS consistent to the _ comp plan. Mr. Wurl noted that the Pow Way was not on the agenda and that he questions would be more appropriate under the public hearing of the zoning change - ordinance, Ordinance #692.
