Seconded by Shipton. <br /> Rautenstraus read Resolution No. 29, Series 1980, in its entirety. <br /> including the condition that approval of Phase III not be given at <br /> this time. <br /> Roll call vote: Dhieux yes , Ferrero yes. Caranci yes, Martella yes, <br /> Shipton yes . All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 8. THE PILLAGE PRELIMINARY PUO - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> Chairman Dhieux opened the public hearing. Staff certification called <br /> for . Randall said notice was published in the Louisville Times in <br /> the October 22. 1980 issue, with the proper mailings to property <br /> owners. <br /> red Simmons of the COG, Inc . made the presentation. He started by <br /> displaying the original plot plan with the townhouse arrangement <br /> which the commissioners had turned down in April . He then showed the <br /> revised plot plan using apartments rather than townhouses. There <br /> is more open space, especially on the north side of the site; berming <br /> and re-shaping was described in regard to the ditch. Also shown were <br /> side elevations , the tot lot and parking, landscaping. <br /> Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was in support of the applica <br /> None. Opposed? None. <br /> STAFF REMARKS : Randall said the new proposal has 34 units. the re- <br /> jected plan had 35. The setback from the north property line(ditch) <br /> is good, the closest structure is on the west end and it is over 120' <br /> from the property on the north side. The ditch area will be more <br /> attractive due to the manner of shaping. Density; the other commercia <br /> residential mix in town is Christopher Village with apartment density <br /> of 20 units/acre. This one is 17 units/acre. Staff supports the <br />
