Sl1IPTON: Was not aware the Fire Department could not handle it two story firs without difficulty. Discussion from the group re- garding the Volunteer Firemen and the Fire District. Rupp said he would talk with Varra about a Fire Marshall to review plans and PUD's. 8. STAFF REMARKS: Rupp: There was discussion of further study of the Comp Plan and the commissioners meeting at 7:00 before the regular meeting at 7:30. At this meeting however, it was not done due to the fact we are waiting for the new commissioner, Duane Elrod, to be on-board before we con- tinue the Comp Plan study. Rupp apologized to those who came early for this purpose. Discussion from the group. Notion by Caranci and seconded by Dhieux that on December 9, 1980 and thereafter , Planning Commission members would meet at 7:00 PM for this purpose, unless notified by the secretary of other arrangements . All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. Randall made a report on the new Post Office site selectioo,whlch will be made in February, 1981 . It is hoped the Post Office will remain on Main Street. Randall is a member of the Louisville De- velopment Corp (LOC) and is deeply involved with this non-profit group for the Downtown Revitalization. 9. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Ferrera and seconded by the group to adjourn the meeting. Chairman Dhieux adjourned the meeting at 9:15 P.M. Next Planning Commission meeting; Tuesday.
