Director Joy McClard, Secretary Also present: Maxwell Saul . Consulting Architect and Tom Chandler of Nelson-Roth and Associates, Inc. The Minutes of the October 22, 1980 meeting were approved as presented. Reports Rupp told the members that a joint meeting has been set with City Council and LURHA for Tuesday, December 2, 1980, 6: 30 PM, new City Hall . Rupp and Hinsberger to form an agenda so that the short meeting will stay on track for the time allotted. Rupp said FmHA has called a meeting Friday, November 21 . 1980, 10:30 AN. at FmHA' s State headquarters in Denver. Keith Suerdick, architect for FmHA has called this meeting in regards to units 27. 28. 29. 30 at Regal Square. Those attending will be Rupp, Hinsberger, Ferris, the contractor Pat Roche, the architect George Clayton and Brighton FmNA representatives According to the engineer report we received from Centennial Engineering, Regal Square will always encounter some problems; however the building is structurally sound. We have this in writing from Centennial Eng- ineering. Rupp introduced Tom Chandler, Nelson-Roth I Associates , Salina.Kansas to the members . Rupp said that 8 developers packets were picked up, and the only one submitted was from Nelson-Roth. Bid opening was November 6. 1980 at 2: 00 PM. In attendance at that meeting was Nelson-Roth rep's Jim Nelson. Tom Chandler and Mr. McCleary. Betty Tunnel from HUD, Max Saul . Consulting Architect, Bob Hinsberger, LHA Chairman and John Rupp, Executive Director. Rupp said the only other proposal he received was the next day from ZVFK Architects of Ft. Collins. If the Authority does not like the proposal that we have received, they would be will - ing to sit down and work with the Authority on coming up with some al- ternative porposals . This was only an additional option.
