Hamilton stated the main siren had <br /> been disabled by lightning, however we do <br /> have a small back-up siren - most evacuation <br /> information will be broadcast by radio and <br /> T.V. Bids are being obtained for a 2 phase <br /> siren. The City should know by September 1, <br /> 1981 if we qualify for Federal funding. <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF EMERGENCY Councilman Fauson moved that the Emergency <br /> PREPAREDNESS PLAN Preparedness Plan be accepted as presented. <br /> Seconded by Councilman Brown. Question <br /> called for. All in favor. Motion carried <br /> 6-0. <br /> MALLY WATER CONTRACT Administrator Wurl advised council the <br /> contract was for 95 shares of Leyner <br /> Cottonwood Consolidated Ditch and 15.4 <br /> shares of Marshall Lake water. He was <br /> requesting council's authorization for <br /> the Mayor and Clerk to sign the agreement. <br /> AUTHORIZATION Councilman Fauson moved that the Mayor <br /> and Clerk be authorized to sign the Melly <br /> Water Agreement. Seconded by Councilman <br /> Domenico.
