7/21/81 Page -6- Administrator Wurl advised that Storer has purchased land just north of Golden Sand and Gravel and will build an office building and warehouse. They intend to be on target for the terms of the contract. Councilman.Meier Wished to thank Director Hioco for putting the grates on the streets. Director Hioco stated Lawrence Rickman of the Street Dept. had these installed. LAKE PARK Councilman Meter also inquired about the drainage problem at Lake Park. Director Hioco advised council that the water had been pumped from the pond and the drainage pipe should be installed soon, as well as grates. In the meantime some clay- dirt will be packed around the pond to help alleviate the problem. Councilman Domenico Congratulated Administrator Wurl and staff for their success at the meeting with the Boulder County Commissioners relative to improvements on the Superior Interchange. Councilman Domenico requested that the clock in the Council chambers be fixed. Director Hioco to take care of it. POW WOW PARADE Mayor Caranci inquired if all the spouses of the councilman were invited to ride in the Pow Wow parade. Administrator Wurl advised that they were. ACCEPTANCE OF COUNCIL COMMENTS Councilman Cummings moved that the council comments be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Councilman Fauson. All in favor. Motion carried. AifROVAL OF THE BILLS City Treasurer Reason read the bills in the amount of $94,326.65. Councilman DelPizzo moved that the bills be approved and checks written for the same. Seconded by Councilman Domenico. Quesrion called for. All in favor. Motion carried 6-0. ADJOURNMENT Councilman Domenico moved that the meeting be adjourned. Seconded by Councilman Meier. All in favor. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned 8:10 P.H.
