Motion <br /> carried 6-0. <br /> ORDINANCE #736 - MAYOR VOTING Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance <br /> by title only on first reading. He in- <br /> formed Council if this ordinance were pub- <br /> lished it would revoke the Mayor's right <br /> to vote. A bill was passed in the Legislature <br /> authorizing this right to the mayor as of <br /> 1/1/82 and would be automatic thru State <br /> Statutes. <br /> Councilman Meier Inquired of the City Attorney if the ordinance <br /> is passed in this form - the mayor would not <br /> be allowed to vote but would retain his veto <br /> power. Attorney Rautenstraus stated this was <br /> correct. <br />
