ORDINANCE #741 - WILLIMS & Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance ASSOCIATES REZONING on first reading by title only. The re- quest was for publication and suggested date of public hearing October 20, 1981. Seconded by Councilman Brown. Question called for. All in favor. Motion carried. RESOLUTION #20 - COAL TRAIN Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution SQUARE FINAL PLAT & P.U.D. in its entirety. SPECIAL REVIEW USE Director Rupp gave a slide presentation - located at the northwest corner of South Boulder Road and Hiway 42, approximately 4. 6 acre site, zoned commercial-business. The project is a mixed-use development - fast food restaurant - southeast corner, service station - off South Boulder Road, northwest corner - proposed for commercial and office building. Site has 3 points of access - 2 off South Boulder Road and and in only from Hiway 42. One of the uses for the site is a self-service station proposed by Diamond-Shamrock. Discussion was held with the State Highway Dept. , developer, and existing Christopher Village owners as to traffic patterns, walkways, parking, and landscapting. Planning Dept. and staff recommend approval. Councilman Brown Referred to the site plan given each member of Council and expressed concern about not having a left-turn lane from the south side of South Boulder Road. Director Rupp advised that design would be developed by the City and would be adjusted.
