• 411 <br /> 9/15/81 Page -8- <br /> Councilman DelPizzo Stated he much preferred the brick service <br /> station to the large overhang roof. <br /> Bob Martin - Hancock & Johnson Bob Johnson, 5809 Arapahoe - architect - • <br /> Representative of the Applicant for the project informed council the <br /> Diamond-Shamrock people instructed him <br /> to stick with design with the overhang <br /> roof which they expect to use throughout <br /> the State of Colorado and establish their <br /> own idenity. <br /> Councilman Fauson Remarked that he was at the Planning Com- <br /> mission meeting when the project was dis- <br /> cussed and it was his opinion that the <br /> applicant had been most cooperative and <br /> thought the plan was a good one and com- <br /> patible with Christopher Village. <br /> Councilman Cummings Inquired other than the service station <br /> what other type of business would be in <br /> the project. <br /> Martin advised at this time the fast-food <br /> restaurant chain had not been selected, <br /> and office buildings and commercial structures <br /> would be constructed. The west access would <br /> tie into Christopher Village with a joint <br /> vehicular and pedestrian sharing. <br /> Councilman Domenico Also stated he did not favor the large <br /> overhang roof on the service station and <br /> much preferred the brick building. <br /> Councilman Brown Expressed his concern with the height of <br /> structure of the service station. <br /> Martin advised the distance from the base <br /> of the structure to the roof was approxi- <br /> mately 12' . <br /> ADOPTION Councilman Meier moved that Resolution #20 <br /> Coal Train Square Final Plat & P.U.D. <br /> Special Review Use be adopted. Seconded by <br /> Councilman Brown. Question called for. <br /> 5 Ayes - 1 Nay - Councilman DelPizzo dissent- <br /> ing. Motion carried. <br /> RESOLUTION #21 - SUNDANCE Attorney Rautenstraus read the resolution <br /> REPLAT AND P.U.D. in its entirety. <br />
