REGULAR MEETING LOUISVILLE CITY COUNCIL APRIL 20,1942_ <br /> The City Council of the City of Louisville met in regular session in the <br /> Council Chambers, 749 Main St. , Louisville, Colorado. Mayor Meier called <br /> the meeting to order at 7 :30 P.24. M.S.T. There being present at the call <br /> of the roll the following persons: <br /> COUNCILMEMBERS: John Leary, Michael Cussen, Susan Morris, <br /> Don Cummings, Dennis Ferrera, and Herman Fauson <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Leon A. Wurl, City Administrator <br /> Curt Rautenstraus, City Attorney <br /> William Hesson, City Treasurer <br /> John Rupp, Director of Community Development <br /> August Hioco, Director of Community Services <br /> David Blanchard, City Engineer <br /> Rod Leesman, Director of Public Safety <br /> Sharon Caranci, Chief Accountant <br /> Cleo Mudrock, City Clerk <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF THE MINUTES Councilwoman Morris requested that an <br /> CORRECTION - AMENDMENT amendment to the minutes of the regular <br /> meeting of April 6, 1982 be made to in- <br /> clude all the council comments regarding <br /> • <br /> the Neodata building. (Verbatim transcript <br /> attached) <br /> ITEMS ENCLOSED Councilman Fauson moved, Councilman Leary <br /> seconded the items enclosed be accepted <br /> and brought up under the proper head of <br /> business. <br /> COUNCIL ITEMS Mayor Meier requested Mrs. Lois DelPizzo, <br /> MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION - who was in attendance representing the <br /> SATURDAY STUDY CLUB Saturday Study Club, to step forward. <br /> He read the proclamation in its entirety, <br /> and presented it to Mrs. DelPizzo. <br /> JAWS PROJECT Dr. John Mc Carthy, a scientist of the <br /> DR. JOHN MC CARTHY National Center for Atmospheric Research <br /> introduced himself and presented council- <br /> members a phamphlet of the proposed project, <br /> which begins May 15th and will last 3 months. <br /> The project was to better understand micro- <br /> burst wind situations as pertains to aviation <br /> safety, and forewarn citizens of potential <br /> tornadoes. A slide presentation was made <br /> depciting downdrafts of air relating to <br /> typical summer clouds in the area. Radar <br /> will be located at Stapleton Airport <br />
