All in favor. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> AUDIENCE COMMENTS None <br /> CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT Attorney Rautenstraus read the ordinance by <br /> ORDINANCE #767 - COMMERCIAL title only and the request was for publication. <br /> AMUSEMENT DEVICES Each councilmember had a copy of the ordinance. <br /> Councilman Ferrera Inquired relative to the $100. 00 fee per machine, <br /> would this apply for one year or each time a <br /> machine is changed. <br /> Attorney Rautenstraus replied the fee was <br /> set up for the number of devices the owner <br /> would have, so that they would not be required <br /> to pay $100. 00 each time a machine was changed. <br /> Councilman Cummings Requested under section 8 .48 .010 Definitions - <br /> The term "mechanical and/or electronic amuse- <br /> ment device" be added. <br /> Councilman Leary Inquired if each machine could be required to <br /> have an equivalent of a license posted on it ; <br /> therefore solving the problem of the machines <br /> being transferred. <br /> Councilman Leary recommended that something <br /> be placed in the ordinance that council be <br /> notified of all violations . <br /> Violations Staff to notify council of any major violations. <br /> Inspections Councilman Leary also requested that two in- <br /> pections per year be made to insure all appli- <br /> cable codes are met . <br /> Attorney Rautenstraus advised that he would <br /> be hesitant to place this requirement in the <br /> ordinance because it would be too restrictive , <br /> should more or less inspections be required. <br /> Leary suggested the wording periodic inspections . <br />
