410 410
•
5/18/83 Page -7-
Councilwoman Morris Referred to Section 5 . Streets of the Annex-
Land to be Dedicated ation Agreement - stated that it was her
feeling that the street dedication for South
Boulder Road and the widening of it would
occur at the time of annexation. According
to the agreement it would take place at the
time of subdivision - did not feel comfortable
with this.
Director Rupp advised that if the City takes
this position then they would be required
to pay for the widening of South Boulder Road.
Attorney Rautenstraus advised sometimes it is
beneficial to the City to wait until the
subdivision process as to which property will
be needed for the dedication. Also, the City
does not have to be concerned about mainten-
ance, etc.
Time Frame on Development Councilwoman Morris inquired of Mr. Anderson
if he had a time frame for the subdivision
process.
Mr . Anderson replied that he did not, but
anticipated that it would be in this calendar
year.
Discussion by council regarding the density
and the general consensus was that it would
be dealt with during the P.U.D. process.
Mayor pro-tem Fauson closed the public hear-
ing.
ADOPTION - ORDINANCE #789 Councilwoman Morris moved, Councilman Ferrera
seconded that Ordinance #789 - Rickman-Moses
Annexation be adopted.
