• 4 • 5/18/83 Page -8- Mayor pro-tem Fauaon opened the public hear- ing and Attorney Rautenstraus certified proper publi- cation of the public notices. Mayor pro-tem Fauaon asked if the applicant wished to make a presentation. Stave Anderson representing the applicant, inquried what the position was relative to passing passing both ordinances should the applicant wish a continuance or withdrawal. Attorney Rautenstraus advised that the zoning ordinance could be continued. The property must be zoned 90 days after annexation. Also both public hearings could be continued if the applicant so desired. Mr. Anderson stated that if Council was not willing to concur this evening with the addi- tion of 3 units to the development since the applicant was dedicating an additional 30' for South Boulder Road, but would like some indication from Council that when the plan is presented during the P.U.D. process con- sideration would be given on the density as requested by the applicant. Mayor Pro-tem Fauson continued the public hearing - anyone wishing to speak for Ordinance #790 -- none ; anyone in opposition - none; specific questions - none. COUNCIL COMMENTS Stated seeing the plan would be critical to Councilwoman Morris her before making a decision. Felt that Hillside square development looked very crowded and did not favor a similar plan. However, if this applicant' s site plan was different would make her decision at that time. Mr. Anderson advised the applicant ' s antici- pated proposal would feature garden type, detached units rather than the townhouse concept at Hillside Square . Councilman Cummings Inquired of Director Rupp where the stipulations of the density would be placed and if it is based on the total gross area of the site be- fore the dedication, and also that the appli- cant must go through the P.U.D. process. 5
